This Rachio Smart Hose Timer product requires a Rachio WiFi Hub to utilize any of the "Smart" features or the Rachio app. You can pair up to four valves per WiFi Hub. Automate your watering for your garden, grass, flowers, or other plants with a standard hose and the Rachio Smart Hose Timer. Easily create schedules and control your watering in the Rachio app with the confidence that water is flowing, thanks to the integrated flow meter. Whether you have in-ground irrigation or not, the Smart Hose Timer can help keep your plants healthy, no matter where you are. The product comes with one valve. Timer valves require a WiFi Hub (sold with the Smart Hose Timer Kit), 2.4 GHz WiFi, and two AA batteries (not included) to operate.

To use this Valve-Only product, you will need to purchase a Rachio Smart Hose Timer Kit with the included WiFi Hub. With the Rachio WiFi Hub, you can extend your smart watering by pairing up to four Smart Hose Timer Valves. Control your watering from your phone by downloading the FREE Rachio App, which allows you to easily manage and monitor your hose watering.

The Rachio Smart Hose Timer offers intelligent features, such as Smart Rain Skips, which will watch the weather for you and skip a scheduled watering if rain has occurred or is expected. You can also start a manual Quick Run in the app or directly on the Timer by pressing the blue button, with the confidence that the flow is being monitored. The patented Flow Monitoring feature lets you know when your hose is running or, more importantly, if it's not running when it should be.
